Hello! My name is Pedro Benítez and I am the freelance translator behind BZ Traductor Jurado. With more than 15 years of experience in the world of translation, I will be delighted to be your trusted language partner in Ciudad Real.

I hold a BA in Translation and Interpreting (Specialisation: English) by the University of Granada since 2008. I am also a Sworn Translator and Interpreted of English, appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2009.

However, I started this exciting journey in 2007 thanks to an internship that allowed me to gain experience translating press releases from the University of Granada into English. Afterwards I started working as a freelancer and from 2010 to 2013 I worked as an in-house translator for Big Fish Games at their offices located in Cork, Ireland. Those years living abroad allowed me not only to master the English language, but also to gain valuable experience to continue my careers as a freelance translator. Since 2013 I have devoted my career to offering exceptional translation services for various clients of all kinds both in Spain and abroad.

My approach is not limited to just translating words from one language to another, but to convey the true meaning and essence of each message.

I have been working as an independent translator since 2007, developing my skills and improving my translation abilities. Each project is an opportunity to exceed expectations and to offer results that go beyond simple works.

I am an enthusiastic advocate of efficiency and precision. I use advanced computer-assisted translation tools to ensure consistency and quality in my translations, such as Trados and MemoQ, which are my favourite ones. These tools not only speed up the process, but also improve the consistency and quality of each project. Additionally, I have the SDL Trados Studio for Translators certificate.

My passion for languages and cultures led me to live and work abroad, specifically Ireland. This experience not only expanded my linguistic horizons, but also enriched my understanding of the cultural subtleties that influence effective translation.
